how do you prepare for a solo?

hi, my name is angela and i live in florida. i'm in college and i have been taken voice lessons for the last 2 years and have completed 2 recitals so far. now i'm in a chorus group that has performed a concert with my old high school. after that concert i got the idea that i want to do a solo up at her school. now my problem is, how do i go about getting ready to do it sometime next year? any advice you could give would be great. thanks. angela

Wow, everyone did so well on their finals this time around, especially the people who went on Thursday! You guys were awesome! It brought tears to my eyes... I'm going to miss all of you seniors next year! Good luck in whatever you do! Class of 05 is now moving up! Next year's vocalteens are going to be awesome!
