Random Lyrics

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed,
that with the sun's love,
in the spring,
becomes

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great trip NY was for Rawn and I. We're so thankful to Rawn's dad (Mr. Emig) for letting us come a long. You guys were truly a great group and you sing so beautiful! Thanks to everyone for being so nice, the chaperones, students, and especially Tom for getting all the pictures together. Good Luck to all of you in your future endeavors. Sue and Rawn Emig

NY Thank You
Submitted by RebeccasDad on Monday, April 7, 2003 - 5:34pm General Choir Chat
NY Trip MHS Choir Students,

As I informed coworkers of my upcoming vacation to NYC, several offered their condolences. Most thought that I had lost my mind. As I surveyed the back of the bus on Tuesday night, I thought that maybe they were right. But as time passed and we got to know each other, I realized that traveling with a bunch of teenagers was not so bad - actually, it turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable trip. You're a great bunch of kids with wonderful manners and uplifting attitudes.

So, for every "please" and "thank you" you offered.....thank you.

For every "after you Mr. Ternes" and "let me get the door for you".....thank you.

For all the smiles, "Good mornings" and "Good nights".....thank you.

For putting your napkins in the air.....thank you.

And most of all, for filling my ears, mind and heart with the most beautiful songs and music.....thank you.

It was an honor and a privilege being associated with such a wonderful group of young ladies and gentlemen.

Rebecca's Dad, Alex Ternes

I just wanted to stop by your webpage and let you know what a pleasure is was for me to be with your wonderful group in NY this last week. (I can also now confess that I got a little choked up when I heard you all sing at "Ground Zero". It's quite an emotional place".) I hope you all had a great time!
