On Tuesday, February 4th, the Choir Boosters held their monthly meeting in the choir room at 7:00 PM. Minutes from the meeting are now online. Items discussed included: Donation of video camera to school, NY trip, Velveteen pictures, web site, choir banquet, and Susan Emig scholarship
President, Mary Kennedy, called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
Meeting minutes from the January 7, 2003 meeting were read and accepted.
Treasurer's Report was read. Balance of $8,777.11 Transatctions this past month included 15 cases of water purchased for $209.85 and banquet deposit of $300.00
After researching the question about insuring the newly acquired video camera, the conclusion was made that purchasing an insurance policy, would be too costly. We are looking into putting it on the school policy. In order to do this, Choir Boosters would have to donate the camera to Merrillville School Corporation. This would mean that any qualified individual could use the camera within the school corporation. A motion was made by Eleanor Naglosky to turn the camera over to the school district with stipulations of liability, coverage and custody. Motion was approved.
