Random Lyrics

Gone, love is never gone,
As we travel on,
Love's what we'll remember!
Kiss today goodbye,
And point me toward tomorrow.
We did what we had to do--
Won't forget, can't regret
What I did for love.

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 - 11:39am Varsity Choir Forum
Im just visiting this page mostly becuase i have nothing to do and the other is becuase Mr. Emig wants us to becuase in class he showed us the sight and told us that none of us wrote so im here I wanna mention somthing about THE UGLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY uniforms no offense but sequence??????????? come on i think we should fund raiser like sell candy so we can get better uniforms i Know Mrs. R said that they needed to find somthing that everyone would at least look have decnt in them so it will look right on all sizes but there are alot of outfits that can be chosen does everyone agree?? The velvet teens and choral teens have cute dresses but then again all of them are a good size and fit them but still i think that there can be better uniforms for the other choirs well thats all until next time *06* i wanna give shout outs to Rosy Rosalinda Sheena Denise Cheron Beverly Samantha You all should know how this is already well think about it new uniforms is a GREAT idea i think so well HOLLLAAAAAAAAAA oh and sry Cheron if i spelled ya name wrong BA BYE

yes, the uniforms are not the best...but im sure they tryed...and its hard, like mrs. R said...that they have to fit all sizes. So I think you need to stop complain...anyways...next year you wont be wearing them...so let the other ppl deal with it

O.K. first of all...what the choirs wear is definitely not YOUR decision...your opinion really DOES NOT MATTER!!! Mr.E and Mrs.R do what they can for us....everybody knows that. Besides, the only time we have to wear those is for concerts. Our performances, and responses to the concert are based on TALENT....not what you're wearing. If you get up there to sing, and all you can think about is what you're wearing, then you OBVIOUSLY don't have what it takes to be in choir. It's all about your voice, and the soul of your singing...not your outfits.

ok.....you need to go back to english class before you even CONSIDER calling someone else a dummy! you have a lot of room to grow up, and become a more mature person, so i would strongly suggest not insulting anyone else's intelligence

So pleased to know that so many of you are interested in participating in a fund raiser for choir. You will have the opportunity next fall - and I expect ALL of you to sell as much as possible. The cost to replace all of your costumes is several thousand dollars - so you "soon to be" sophmores will have to step it up. Unfortunately, you weren't all that energetic with the fund raiser we did last fall. Now is the time to "put up or shut up"! I know that Mrs. R and Mr. E will be happy to know that you are so committed to getting costumes that aren't "so ugly". You go girls!

Look, I'm a guy, and thus I know I don't have to wear what y'all wear, but if it weren't for choir, I would probably never wear a tuxedo, just some food for thought before i get bashed for this. Anyways, everything can basically be boiled to a few bullet points. 1. This is choir, not modeling. 2. If you were more concerned about what we wear as opposed to what we sing, are you sure you belong in choir? 3. These outfits have worked longer than I've been here. 4. If you want to get new uniforms, go and do. Start a fundraiser.
This may sound a little harsh, but this pointless debate has been going on for 3 months now. I realize everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but we're now at the point of beating a dead horse, which is never a pretty sight. So in a nutshell, despite your efforts to reaccessorize the choral department, we will probably wear the same costumes we've been wearing for years to come; get over it.

Just get over it

The uniforms are fine..we look all the same..theyre sparkly and look good on stage. We should just get over it, they're fine, and unless you want to pay for new ones and cause the choir boosters and teachers a bunch of unneccesary conflict...respect the fact that we have a good choral department and we even have uniforms, and look more professional! Smile

Hey yall!! About these uniforms...it's really not that serious!! I think that we have come a long way since the beginning of the school year, maybe even a little less materialistic because of our uniforms. We should just be thankful that we have them, because there are schools that do not. So to the person who started this topic with an attitude...
I know who u r! And a fund raiser is a good idea (4 next year because this year is practically ova) if u r willing to put it together then I am willing to support u and help out 110%! Oh yeah, thanx 4 giving me a shout-out! Y'all holla back now, ya herre?
Oh yeah, by the way...

CANDYBARS?!?! HA GOOD LUCK!
Posted by Anonymous on Thu, 05/08/2003 - 7:23pm
Ok 1st of all EVERYONE in choir thinks those tops r ugly but everyone goes thro it! What matters is that they look good from the audience and we look like a professional choir unit! hence the word "unit" because that is what a choir is its not just 1 or 2 ppl bcuz thats not a choir! and about all the 2nd and 3rd hour gurls havin nice lil bodies that had NOTHING to do wit the outfits!if ur so0o0o willing to raise THOUSANDS of dollars for LONGLASTING uniforms, ur gonna have to do A LOT MORE THAN LIL CANDY BARS!!

Hey everybody! Well, we survived our Freshman year in the "hideous" outfits (even though if you ask me we look better when we all wear the same thing to our concerts instead of wearing other things that could be labeled as "too revealing," but, NOBODY ASKED ME, soooo.........)
I really think we oughtta leave them for the Varsity Choir next year because they're Freshmen...who cares?!? (j/k) But seriously, if we could actually get together and agree on some of these ideas, it would be so much better than always trying to bite each other's heads off. But, this school year is OVA! I will be seeing everyone this summer at Choir Camp, I'm certain.
-...Or else...-
"Mah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"
You know, that laugh only works when you do it in person. So anyways, I'll see y'all.
Excellent Concert! (Didn't 6th hour do a fantastic job?!)
I had a lot of fun (while wearing my hideous costume) and I'm sure you did too.
angelpie, tell my baby I said "hi!"
See you guys lata
