Friday, we awakened early for yet another hotel breakfast, then headed out to the bus.

At the College of Staten Island, we rehearsed then performed the music we had prepared. Following our performance, we participated in a session with one of the judges. After the performance, we headed back out to the bus.

After arriving at Lincoln Center and obtaining security clearance to go on the tour, we had the opportunity to see several of the beautiful theatres at Lincoln Center.
Next, we headed out for lunch and yet another shopping adventure. Many a clothing item was purchased.
After having completed our shopping excursions, we started on the bus ride to Chinatown to eat at the Sweet 'n Tart Restaurant. The food was good, but dinner was especially fun for me because I finally figured out how to eat food with chopsticks. (what an accomplishment...)
Following dinner, we spent a while shopping and exploring Chinatown.

After boarding the bus in Chinatown, we found a few seconds to stop by the Ghostbusters fire station and take pictures. We also got the opportunity to take a picture of the New York City skyline at night from a distance. We weren't able to visit the Empire State Building because it would have been too foggy to see anything from it.
Pizza party at the hotel
Pizza party at the hotel
We concluded the evening with a pizza party / birthday party at the hotel in addition to swimming in the (very crowded) hotel pool. Tonight is my last night of rest before the long ride home, so I'm heading off to bed. I'll try to update tomorrow from an Internet cafe or maybe from a wireless connection, but no guarantees. Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone! - Tom -
