Admission to the Choralteens is by consent of the director only. These courses meet daily for one credit per semester and must be taken both semesters. Additionally, they rehearse twice a week after school for their choreography and dance instruction. Out of Choralteens comes an additional smaller mixed ensemble, the Vocalteens, which do the majority of performances representing our high school (approximately 35 performances a year). This class is for the more dedicated vocalists who do not mind giving up two to three days a week rehearsing and many weekends each year doing performances and competitions. These groups have been rewarded in the past with performance tours including, the Bahamas, Disney World, San Antonio, etc. Chorus members are exposed to a wide variety of secular and sacred literature from all music preiods.
